Now, my brother is the type of guy who needs to shave about an hour after he has shaved. His beard is thick and his 5 O'clock shadow starts to show at about 9am- if he's lucky. So, his experience with the blades would be very different to mine. His shaving kit is also different to mine. He normally uses a Gillette Blue 3 disposable razor and Rapid Shave shaving creme (Here's the Material Safety Data Sheet for the shaving creme if you are interested. You'll be pleased to know, it is non-hazardous!). Wiki states that the Blue 3 is a three-blade razor that is a disposable variant of Sensor 3.

Well, it
was a good shave and probably as good as my routine Gillette blade. It
certainly didn't butcher my face like I expected. The problem was that about 5
shaves down the track, I could feel the blades pulling. The Gillette? I can
easy get 10-15 shaves out of it. This one; the blades just didn't last as long.
So, given the choice, I'd stick with my brand.
Always interesting to get a different perspective, especially when the variables are so... well... variable.
