Bad look for Razorshack.com. Oh, and bad luck, too.

When is enough enough?

In my search for another brand of razor to try, I thought I'd give Razorshack a go. Problem was, their on-line shopping system was obviously broken. Everything else about their website seemed fine except the shopping cart wouldn't load. It would just kept cycling and cycling and nothing moved.

So, I thought I would be fair and email them. Partly to tell them the shopping cart was broken but also to check out their customer service approach as well. After 24 hours, I received a reply, sadly it was from my email provider:

Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.
     <info@razorshack.com>:
Mail server for "razorshack.com" unreachable for too long

Hmm. Shopping cart not working and their email bounces. Nope. I had had enough. Lost my business, at least for the time being. Strange that their Facebook page was updated on 28 April and... hmmm.

I am sure RazorWorld doesn't mind the extra business.....

Update: My curiosity got the better of me, so I rang the Melbourne phone number to see what was happening. "The number you have called is not connected. Please check the number and try again" (Have you ever noticed the way she says "check the number", as if it was absolutely your fault the number wasn't working).

So, it seems that Razorshack is no more. That is sad. I know how hard it can be to run a business and closing the doors is an even harder option. Obviously, I sincerely wish the owners of the business the best of luck going forward.

I just wish they'd take their webpage down.
