AussieShave.com The first weeks of the first blade.

As I implied in my first post, one of the reasons I wanted to try the subscription-type supply of razors was to ensure I changed the blade more often. It was therefore a little annoying that I didn't make a note of how long my first blade was being used. (For the record, this has been rectified for the second blade).

Anywho, subsequent shaves all went a similar way to the first. What I found was that I wasn't looking forward to shaving with the AussieShave.com razor. But (and it is a pretty big but!), after the first movement of the blade across my face, I settled in for a good, comfortable shave.

Except for the bit between my upper lip and my nose. Two problems I found. First, I couldn't find an approach with the Supreme razor to shave the bit immediately beneath my nose effectively. So I repeatedly resorted to using the Schick. Secondly, I seemed to nick myself quite easily, but interestingly only on then left side between the upper lip and nose. Repeatedly. It wasn't just a matter of lacking learning behaviour. It just seemed to slice the skin easily.

Again, the wisdom of the AussieShave.com representative, Bruce, was in my head, reminding me that it may take several weeks to get used to the different razor. Okay, Bruce. I trust you. Let's see how things are in about two or three weeks....
