Twee Memberships cards

I really think these membership cards are a cute idea. While they are a bit ...well... silly, they are also missing a simple thing that may- for some people- cement their ongoing custom.

AussieShave.com certainly hits you over the head with their Australian pedigree and reinforces the fact that you are a legend. I must admit I don't need a shaving company to tell me that :-)

DollarShaveClub has a slightly different approach, a little more low key than Aussieshave.com. Nevertheless, it also reminds you that you have joined the Australian version of the company. That's a nice touch.

However, both these companies are making (what I believe is) a huge mistake. These welcome card are supposed to be an exciting and welcoming entry into their respective subscription shaving system. One espouses that I am a genius and the other (on the reverse side) states I am part of an elite group. So, if I am an "official" or "legendary" member, why cannot the company go the extra, tiny step and write or print my name on my 'membership card'? Is that really too much to ask to make it just a little bit more of a personalised experience?

Come on Angry Koala or Dancing Bear- pick up a pen and write the member's name on their membership card. That small gesture might make you a legend!
